Tieto is focused on integrated lifecare - a seamless care and service chain from birth to old age

Tieto is focused on integrated lifecare, but our focus goes well beyond this basic concept of lifetime involvement. Our corporate commitment is to create solutions that revolutionize the healthcare and welfare industry, ensuring that an enhanced quality of life is a reality for all citizens.

Healthcare and welfare organizations are driven by increasing cost pressures, a shortage of skilled labour, an aging population, and a growing need for even higher quality of services – while facing increasingly expensive care options.

Tieto helps communities and diverse lifecare organizations overcome these challenges and improve the quality, safety and efficiency of healthcare and welfare services – including those at the national level.

Our integrated healthcare solutions help you to work within one unbroken chain, where information from birth to old age is seamlessly shared. Your quality of care and operational efficiency are enhanced by an end-to-end care process in which the information on the patient is always up-to-date and always available.

National eHealthNational projects play an important role in improving the quality and efficiency of lifecare services. Tieto is an enthusiastic partner in these national projects and is committed to their success:

  • Finland: Tieto actively participates in the National Healthcare project (KanTa) (Tieto is one of the first companies to deliver an ePrescription solution – a critical component of the project) and in the National Social Welfare IT project, Tikesos. Tieto is also a key shareholder in the Finnish Strategic Leading Expertise Centre (T&H SHOK) for the healthcare and welfare sectors.
  • Norway: Various projects to integrate solutions nationally and between organizations.
