Tieto selected to host Outokumpu's ICT infrastructure

Tieto will enter into infrastructure services partnership with Outokumpu. The four-year agreement covers centralized and on-site capacity services as well as ERP platform management services that can be scaled according to the customer's needs. In addition, approximately twenty employees will transfer from Outokumpu to Tieto.

Tieto will provide Outokumpu with centralized governance, improved availability, scalability, best practices service production and reduced operational expenditure. The services include Tieto's SAP Dynamic Landscape solution, which ensures reliable delivery combined with cost effectiveness. Centralized processing and storage capacity is delivered by Tieto's energy efficient data centre in Finland and the manufacturing specific Mill-in-the-Box solution supports the customer's critical on-site IT operations.
