Tieto supplies customer information and billing system to Dala Kraft

Dala Kraft continues its cooperation with Tieto and has signed a service and maintenance agreement until 2014 regarding Tieto's Customer and Billing system - CAB. The system will be used for approximately 115 000 utilities customers in Sweden.

-  We are delighted that Dala Kraft now continues to use CAB for customer support and billing. They were the pioneer users of the system in 1999, and the renewed trust shows that we have succeeded well in developing the system through the years, says Jan Axelsson, Tieto, who is customer responsible for Dala Kraft.

Already today 1/3 rd of all electricity bills in the Nordics are produced using a Tieto-driven system, which corresponds to more than 4 million points of delivery. Tieto handles approximately 130 million transactions yearly on behalf of the utility industry in its electronic message exchange hub. These automate customers' processes and reduce their environmental footprint.

The future development of CAB is decided by a council consisting of representatives from all CAB customers.
